ABSTRACT

This paper presents a study on social networks services and a survey of the attacks and malicious use of this interaction mechanism whose utilization is continuously growing. Increasingly, social networks sites are investing in security mechanisms, which are dependent on the understanding and awareness of the users to follow the security models provided by the service providers. This paper proposes a model of security and privacy on social networks to improve security and reduce the risks associated with them. This model is designed as referential for evaluating security and privacy indicators over actual social networks services.
