ABSTRACT
This paper presents the legal and technical aspects and the difficulties involved in the interception of Internet connections for the purpose of criminal investigation in Brazil. We propose a central infrastructure for receiving the intercepted traffic and a tool for obtaining, processing, importing and analyzing the traffic, in order to automate the entire process, simplifying and increasing the use of these interceptions in investigations.
