ABSTRACT
This paper presents the results of an official forensic examination of a fraud committed thru the Internet. Besides the technical issues, the operational mode of the suspects will be presented. Important issues about the data volatility of the digital evidence, anti-forensic techniques and the precautions needed in the search and seizure operations of similar cases. Besides that, digital artefacts and other evidences related with the fraud will be analyzed.
