SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Professor Paulo Quintiliano received a B.Sc. in 1982 in Computer Science, a second B.Sc. degree in Law Science, a M.Sc. in Computer Science, and a Ph.D.in Geosciences from the University of Brasilia.

He worked at The Brazilian Federal Police for over 20 years (retired in 2016), in computer forensics.  His research interest areas are in computer forensics, computer law/Cyber Law,
biometrics, network security, image processing, and pattern recognition.

Currently he is working as an Attorney, in the matters of Cyber Law (www.quintiliano.adv.br), He is the President of the HTCIA - Brazil Chapter.

He is also
with the University of Brasilia (UnB) as Associate Researcher, and with IPOG as a Professor.
